Our Cumbria based training venues in Whitehaven ( Copeland / Allerdale ) and Penrith ( Eden ) offer courses such as the ECDL - European Computer Driving License > through to Microsoft MCSE / MCSA and CompTIA A+ qualifications. We also offer a full range of vocational qualifications such as NVQ / ITQ and Maths and English GCSE's. We have been established for 7 years and to date have helped almost 3000 people gain new skills. The courses and tests are provided through our unique partnerships with organisations like learndirect, PearsonVUE, Edexcel, BCS and OCR. This inter working provides our learners with a flexible, affordable and fast learning solution. Recently we have purchased the learndirect mobile bus and are visiting towns around Cumbria bringing learndirect to your doorstep.

We are currently working in partnership with Jobcentre's around cumbria to offer free training and careers advice and guidance. We have an outreach tutor who can come and visit you free of charge to help guide you on your career path. Flexible learning through learndirect

Learndirect is great way to learn new skills. Almost all Learndirect courses are provided online giving great flexibility to your learning and the option to do it from home. When you enrol on a learndirect course you are given an etutor who specialises in the subject you have chosen to learn. You can email this tutor or pop into our centre and speak to them face to face. There are varying course durations from simple tasters that can be a short as an hour up to and over 32 hours. A typical course will include online assignments and possibly a test option at the end to gain certification such as ECDL, GCSE Maths and English GCSE's.
